Just wanted to wish all local government members the very best of wishes for the strike on 20th August. I know how hard it is for members, and especially the lower paid, to take action and lose a days pay. The time comes though when we have to say ‘enough is enough!’ All we want is a fair days pay for a fair days work. With inflation running at over 4% and probably worse to come, it is time to take a stand.
My daughter and brother are both members of the Fife Branch and will be playing their part on Wednesday. Sorry, I can’t be with you but GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
